Mobility in Poland: 23-27May 2022

The activity started on Monday 23 May with tennis lesson in local leisure centre in Dzierżoniów. Then students went to the city centre of Dzierżoniów where they visited the town mint (they found out about the history of making coins in the past and in Dzierżoniów as well. Every student and teacher could make a coin on her/his own. Then they went up the Town Hall view tower where they could admire the landscapes all around Dzierżoniów. In the afternoon mobility participants went to host school where they took part in music classes, played some board games and visited the school with Polish students. In the evening there were Polish dances workshops - together they danced Polonez -  the national Polish dance.
On Tuesday 24th May the day started with a trip to BÅ‚Ä™dne SkaÅ‚y/Errant Rocks in National Park of Góry StoÅ‚owe and then to Papermaking Museum in Duszniki Zdrój, where students got to know the history of paper nad made some paper on their own. In the afternoon there was a meeting with wild birds (a hawk and some owls) - everyone found out true information about wild owls and hawks and could touch the birds. After that we had a picnic made by Polish students' parents and some integration games outdoors.
Wednesday 25th May we spent in Wrocław starting with activities on the swimminig pool. Then we spent some time in the centre of the city centre playing scavenger hunt on Actionbound (Looking for Wrocłąw Dwarfs) in international groups. After reaching the market square in Wrocław (the final point of the game) we had some free time to enjoy the city. In the afternoon we visited the water centre of Hydropolis, where students could experience the power of water - see how imortant water is in human's life including the history of the biggest ships and their journeys.
Thursday 26th May we started with a visit at the Gingerbread House in Niemcza, where we got to know the history of gingerbread in Lower Silesia and in the world  as well. Student made some gingerbread cookies on their own using traditional methos and traditional ingredients. After the gingerbread workshops the whole group went on a trip to Åšlęża Mountain, where we took a few kilometres long walking trip to the top of the mountain of a height of 718 m above sea level. At the top students had active time climbing up the view tower and exploring the ancient sculptures there.
In the afternoon there was a farewell barbecue.
Friday 27th May was spent in Dzierżoniów - first, scavenger hunt on Actionbound "Visiting Dzierżoniów" around the ancient part of the medieval town. Then we visited the town hall representative Knight Chamber where the mayor of Dzierżoniów welcomed the whole Erasmus+ group.  In the afternoon farewell meeting at host school took part with peers meeting. In the afternoon - indoor sports activities in the leisure centre of Dzierżoniów.
